GYROKINESIS The Gyrokinesis Method is a movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. By the end of a Gyrokinesis session, one’s entire system is awakened and brought into greater balance. Focusing on the breath stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, resulting in a sense of calm, well-being and mental clarity. Mobility Having control throughout our joints’ full range of motion helps enhance our body’s ability to function effectively, efficiently and with diminished risk of injury and pain. Using exercises and props, this class is designed to help you develop maximum body control, flexibility and strength throughout your joints’ full range of motion, improving overall joint mobility and longevity. Pilates: Strength Building on a solid foundation and good technical understanding of the repertoire, we pick up the pace in our strength classes to challenge balance, coordination, endurance, power and flexibility. Pilates: Restorative Slowing down is crucial for overall health and rest is essential for muscle growth. Our restorative classes will stretch your joints, muscles and connective tissue, keeping you flexible, strong, and healthy. Pilates: Technique Build a good foundation with our technique classes. In our technique classes, we spend time to break down each exercise in detail - drawing awareness to the muscles and joints you are working, correct alignment for each exercise and any necessary modifications you may need for your body specifically.
